CHICAGO (April 20, 2007) – A seasoned environmental engineer and project manager, Christopher Yamaya joins CTE as the engineering firm’s Upper Midwest Regional Manager.
His primary responsibilities involve blending the technical talents of CTE’s professionals with the resources of all AECOM operating companies to significantly enhance delivery and expand services, while directing sales and marketing efforts in the Upper Midwest Region in the Midwest District. Chris will work to increase staff levels, and develop professional advancement initiatives. Chris will also work closely with the National Practice Leader organization to advance the firm’s technologies and business growth.
A licensed professional engineer who is also board certified in environmental engineering, Chris holds both a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. Prior to CTE, he worked for CDM, serving as the North Central Region Area Manager of Client Services and Operations.
His extensive background includes serving as the project director for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago’s facility improvement and expansion programs; managing several water treatment plants in the Midwest, including the Chicago Department of Water Management; and, serving as the modeling engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ National Dam Safety Program.
