CHICAGO (October 30, 2006) – Amar Rajpurkar has been promoted to Vice President and Midwest Transportation Practice Leader of CTE, a Chicago-based transportation and environmental services firm specializing in urban infrastructure. Rajpurkar served as Marketing Director and Business Developer for the company for the past ten years.
During his 16-year career, Rajpurkar has worked in engineering and architecture management, marketing, business development, client management and design positions. As a business developer for CTE he was instrumental in the company’s continued success in Illinois, Michigan as well as growth in Wisconsin.
Rajpurkar has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, and recently was appointed as a board member of the Western Society of Engineers, Chicago chapter.
