O'Hare International Airport
For over 45 years, CTE has played a major role in over $3 billion worth of redevelopment work at O'Hare International Airport. CTE's consulting services have included such marquee design projects as taxiway bridges and roadway infrastructure improvements for the International Terminal. As Program Management Consultant on the O'Hare Associates Joint Venture team from 1981 - 1994, CTE was responsible for financial planning, program controls and cost accounting, as well as design management and project management oversight, for all engineering projects on this $2 billion program. Since the successful implementation of the O'Hare Development Program, CTE has continued to be involved in major civil and environmental projects at O'Hare including: airfield improvements to rectify overall drainage conditions on the north airfield; design of the Willow-Higgins and Touhy Avenue detention basins; automated transit system technical assistance; and the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Taxiway "F" and the reconstruction of Runway 14L-32R. CTE is also involved with various environmental and planning projects for the World Gateway Program.
