Erie Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall Improvements

CTE studied and designed a wastewater treatment plant outfall sewer and other wet weather related facilities.  CTE performed detailed hydraulic analyses to determine the split of gravity flow between the existing 72-inch, 10,700-foot outfall and a new, parallel 90-inch, 7,900-foot outfall.  The new, prestressed concrete pipe outfall includes 1,400 feet on land and 6,500 feet in Lake Erie.
